Over 200 people came out for the first of three community meetings. Participants completed different exercises including voting on their top 3 - Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats which was a continuation from the first public meeting held in April.
Participants also listened to a presentation from Doug Farr, Farr Associates that included an overview of 4 different cross-sections for Eighth Street. Participants were then asked to complete a preference survey at there tables. The survey scorecard included the 4 street cross-section options and different street amenities that could be added to any cross-section.
The following day the Charrette Project Team tallied the scorecards. Below, is a copy of an example scorecard and the results.
